WHITE HOOP SKIRT SLIP-- for any popular American Girl or Bitty Baby doll. It will look lovely with any dress that needs a lot of added "oomph!" with the fuller dresses and princess costumes.
There are two circles of ''boning'' to hold the skirt out. This item measures about 36 inches around and about 12 inches diameter. It is 8 inches long. A creative person could adjust the size of this slip by finding the ends of the hoops (inside) and cutting them off some, then readjusting the fabric on each hoop.
Use this for any dress you want to be full. You could remove the bottom layer for a shorter skirt, hemming the white fabric again. Nice with Colonial styles, too. Hoop skirts were common in the nineteenth century.
