SILVER NASA ASTRONAUT MOON SUIT--Now your doll can pretend to go to outer space!
Now we have the new space program to fly to the moon, Artemis II, with a woman astronaut chosen as one of the crew of four who will be on the mission to fly around the moon in late 2025. They were wearing blue jumpsuits when they were chosen from a group of many trained astronauts. Silver has been a long-popular color for moon-walk suits and costumes.
Your new moon suit will include:
- Silver Jumpsuit with official-looking NASA patches,
- Separate Helmet/Hood (you can add a clear plastic piece from the recycle bin at your house to make it look even cooler!) Pretend your doll takes a space walk! Maybe s/he will repair the ship from the outside.
- Includes Silver Boot Covers.
Did you know the Space Shuttles flew 135 missions between 1981 and 2011? NASA built a total of five complete systems. Why was the space program worth spending so much on it? Because of the incredible discoveries and advances made in science because of the Space Program! Many things we take for granted today are results of NASA experiments and scientific discoveries: CAT Scans, Scratch-resistant lenses, ear thermometers, shoe insoles, invisible braces for teeth, cordless tools, water filters, portable computers, computer mouse, LEDs, sat nav (satellite navigation-what your phone uses to help guide you as you drive to a new place), memory foam, smoke detectors, even safety grooves on roads, pools and sidewalks, and much more!
Richard, my husband (and now the shipping maestro at Lovvbugg) worked on the team of buyers for the heat-shield tiles installed incorrectly on the first Space Shuttle! Each one was specially made to only fit in one place. They were so expensive it was worth it to go after all they could find of them out in the ocean (each one included a device making it possible to find it). Not your average bathroom tiles! The problem was caused by an unauthorized switch in the type of adhesive used to apply them by the company hired to put them on. It was a famous snafu your parents or grandparents probably remember.
Richard went on to work on radio control systems for airplanes, then he negotiated for the parts used to build ''trainers,'' those incredible machines used to train airplane pilots. He finally retired and took over the shipping department of Lovvbugg. It is a REAL home-based business run directly by the two of us! Thank you for making it possible for us to grow the the largest (most items) doll clothes and accessories business in the world! And we always list everything with the lowest price in the free world at Lovvbugg!
Zip-Zip Zoom-Zoom! I wonder what it feels like to be weightless, don't you?!
