There is a silver comb attached to the bottom that works like a comb AND a clip to hold this firmly in the doll's hair. Made of strong, shiny silver metal with rhinestones of either glass or plastic.
Dimensions are 1-3/8" diameter OD (outside dim), actually just a hair over 1" diameter inside x 1-1/2 inches tall. It sounds smaller than it looks. Sits ON the head, not around it like the larger tiaras do.
