REPRO SAMANTHA SPECIAL DAY DRESS AND BOW SET-- Lovvbugg's new reproductions are made without elastic whenever possible because the latex dies, requiring an expensive repair in the future. This dress is another example of Lovvbugg raising the bar on quality you can expect for your new doll clothes! Worth every penny! The fabric was printed specially for us. The dress was made specially to fit the thicker-waisted older dolls, too. Lovely lace and ribbon. Great attention to the details throughout! Worth every penny!

The Special Day Dress was only sold as part of Samantha's Collection from 2015 until 2017, when it was retired.

Here's what's included:
  • Blouson Style bodice Dress--mint green with bunches of flowers and lace applied around neckline and dropped waist with pink ribbon belt around, tacked down on the sides. In back it has a lovely permanently-tied bow and closes with hook-and-loop.
  • Big Double Satin Hairbow Headband--made with wide ribbon with four big loops. I have explained before about the large bows for girls' hair in the Victorian era. The idea was to put a big gifty bow because the child was a gift. The headband has elastic like the original had. The bow may flatten in the package but you can coax it back into a pretty shape once you remove it from the package.
Shoes are sold separately. The original dress had dark red/pink shoes. Our Samantha is wearing our Pink Sweet Flower Flats. We have so many, many shoe styles. You can choose whatever style and color you like best!
