The dolls nowadays come with a wonderful type of hair (Kanekalon) managed best using this type of brush, without plastic on the tips of the bristles. They cause friction and damage the hair, making it frizzy. TIP: You should only use water, applied using a spray bottle, when you want to style your doll's hair. (If your brush smells funny when you receive it there is nothing wrong with it. Just put it in the dishwasher to wash away the light coat of oil they have put on the brushes to keep them looking perfect in the closed-up package.)
