  • The blue princess gown made of quality blue satin (not that cheap ''china silk'') has attached net slip inside and a sparkly overskirt in two layers, made of sparkly knitted tulle with thousands of tiny silver dots all over it. The top skirt is a shorter peplum that meets in the front. The yoke and sleeves are also two layers, silk and tulle, and are trimmed with lovely silver gimp braid at the neck, front and waist. A confection!
  • White lace gloves trimmed with the same silver gimp braid on the top edges,
  • Silver-and-'Diamond' tiara with lovely heart stones.

I remember my Sleeping Beauty doll when I was little. Her dress was similar to this but in lavender-and-gold. She was a Madame Alexander doll, and I think she is 17 inches tall but with a tiny, thin body. I remember staring into her eyes, thinking she was the prettiest thing I'd ever seen. I still have her but she shows the cares of time--and lots of little girl love!
